The Świdnicki Rally was the second round of the Polish Rally cup this year. The event was based in Świdnica city where the service park and the official rally start and finish were located.

Special stages of the Świdnicki Rally, such as the classic Złoty Las, Rościszów and Sokolec stages, are well-known to all rally fans. These are the stages where the Elmot and Nikon rallyes as well as our flagship Polish rally, i.e. The Rally of Poland, took place. The demanding stages located around Świdnica are places where the best Polish rally drivers  have competed many times. They often resisted the international competitors, who in large numbers often turn up at the Rally of Poland.

This year the participants of Polish Rally Cup squared up to the famous rally stages of the southern Poland. There were 76 teams on an entry list. Two teams maintained by Inter-JAR showed up at the rally start. Representatives of Tedex SUPREMIS Rally Team, Paweł Hankiewicz and Agnieszka Wierzchowska, drove the A-group Honda Civic Type R in the latest specification. The second Inter-JAR team, Chuchała i Damian Syty, presented a well-known Peugeot 206 RC prepared for N3 class. The conditions on the stage were harsh and the rain falling since the first special stage made the competition even more difficult as it made choosing proper tires problematic.

Even though it was Paweł Hankiewicz’s (driver) and Agnieszka Wierzchowska’a (co-driver) debut in Honda Civic Type-R FN2 their pace was very quick. The Tedex SUPREMIS Rally Team duo was getting faster on each stage and during the last loop they came second twice and were first once. Eventually Paweł Hankiewicz and Agnieszka Wierzchowska ranked third in the Świdnicki Rally 1.2 seconds behind Jarosław Mikołajczyk, who ranked second. As the driver himself summed it up, the result could have been better, but the events on the first loop cost the team a few precious seconds. Fortunately, the events were not dangerous and the only loss was time.

The drivers and a whole Inter-JAR team are supported by: Tedex, SUPREMIS and Ulter. We thank our sponsors for their trust and encourage fans to support us on special stages of next rounds of Polish Rally Cup 2009. You are also welcome to follow the latest news on our website:

And for those who would like to feel the emotions of sitting behind the wheel of Tedex SUPREMIS Rally Team cars we kindly remind you that we also organize team building events. Have fun with us!
