Warsaw, 14 April 2008. In the first quarter of 2008, the sale of SAP Business One solution dedicated to small and medium enterprises increased by more than 45% in comparison to the first quarter of 2007. Such a significant increase proves the success of a strategy involving focusing on smaller customers as well as it proves the increased acknowledgment for SAP Business One solution on the part of the users. Not only do Polish companies appreciate extensive features, but also stability and safety provided by SAP solutions. The latest contracts for SAP Business One license supply were signed mainly with manufacturing companies, service providers and trade companies. Among others the list of the abovementioned companies includes: Ayala – company supplying beauty parlors and barbershops. Due to the company’s plan of expansion onto the European markets, the owners decided to buy the SAP Business One solution and implement it in the field of import, manufacturing, distribution and acquisition according to the legal regulations and norms under Polish and EU law. The implementation project will be conducted by SUPREMIS. Veron – a real estate rental and management company, which, similarly to other company from this sector, i.e., Deporium, purchased the SAP Business One solution together with the sector dedicated solution, i.e. " Property & Facility Management for use with SAP Business One” solely designed by SUPREMIS, SAP Gold partner. In both cases the planned implementation time is exceptionally short – it equals 1 month only. "Such a significant increase in sale of the solutions for small and medium enterprises gives us great satisfaction. A few years ago we made it our ambition to strengthen our presence in this segment and we are now consequently realizing this goal. For a long time medium-sized enterprises have been an area of a high priority, and we believe that smaller companies have a tremendous investment potential in them. We are also convinced that in the forthcoming years they will play a significant role in the growth of IT investment on Polish market" - said Grzegorz Rogaliński, SAP Poland President.
