Provalliance Poland is the owner of a well-known chain of barbershops. Lovely Look and Jean Louis David. The company has been active in the branch cosmetic services for 10 years. This nationwide chain of barbershops provides service to more than 25,000 clients a month. After a merger with Jean Louis David, the company decided to change its ERP system to SAP Business One.

Development of sales network as an incentive for change

A few years ago the company made a decision to comprehensively computerize its sale network choosing a Polish ERP software manufacturer. Dynamic development of the Lovely Look chain of barbershops and joining forces with Jean Louis David forced Management to look for more reliable software to use in barbershops. At the beginning of this year the ERP class system, SAP Business One, was deployed in the barbershops. The system’s task is to support the registration of sales and to help the company steadily improve their service quality.

High quality test

The solution dedicated to the sales network was proposed by the SUPREMIS implementing company (SAP Gold Partner) and TideSoftware (the manufacturer of a business process management system). It was based on SAP Business One and quickly brought tangible benefits.

New SAP Business One system allows barbershops to work efficiently irrespective of the internet connection with the central office. Implementing the solution introduced new standards of conduct. The system does not need to be installed on desktop computers in barbershops, which as a result drastically reduces the cost of running and updating software.

SAP Business One proved its merits in the area of reporting and compatibility with the ERP system utilized in Lovely Look. As a result such qualities of the new system as: reliability, ease of use and low operating cost convinced Management for comprehensive implementation of SAP Business One in the whole company, thus replacing the previous ERP system.

Ultimately, apart from supporting all barbershops in Poland under the Lovely Look and Jean Louis David Brand, SAP Business One will also be responsible for all key business areas such as: Accounting and tangible assets, human resources and payroll, sale and purchase, warehouse management, controlling and CRM along with an advanced support for the loyalty program. SUPREMIS and TideSoftware are planning to successfully finish the implementation by the end of the year.
