BISAN Sp. z o.o. is a company with many years of experience on the market of building and installation materials. The company has 5 branches in Poland. BISAN’s main customers are trade networks and distributors. Time for change

Dynamic development of the company including the expansion of sales network, growing number of handled transactions and the need for manual data exchange with a bookkeeping module resulted in a decision to exchange current enterprise management software. The final impetus for making a change was the necessity to begin communication with trade networks in an electronic manner, i.e. EDI electronic data exchange.

Apart from SAP Business One software, BISAN company was considering products of other companies, such as EPICOR Scala, CDN XL by Comarch and Simple.

Key elements of the solution

SUPREMIS Sp. z o.o., the first SAP GOLD Partner in Poland, implemented SAP Business One system together with extensions dedicate to distributors. The system’s key element is an effective processing of electronic document exchange with trade networks and the employment of Electronic Data Interchange ECOD systems as well as fiscal printers handled in a terminal manner.

Moreover, a module for financial processes management, a Controlling analytical module as well as a customer relationship management feature have been implemented. It is worth emphasizing that BISAN company was the first company in Poland and one of the first companies in the world which started utilizing SAP Business One version 2007A system.

SAP Business One STI and (Short Time of Implementation)

Thanks to implementing SAP Business One STI (Short Time of Implementation) methodology developed by SUPREMIS Sp. z o.o., the duration of implementation since the beginning of pre-implementation analysis in five locations in Poland was only three months. This methodology translated directly into reducing project costs and enabled to successfully conclude the implementation.
